After a combined 65+ years in the aerospace industry JP retired in 2014 and Kim early in 2017. We had long dreamed of building a log home after we retired in a place where we could escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We found that place in the area of Glide, OR. and the Umpqua Valley.

From the beginning, we decided that we wanted to share this place and our home with those who came here for the amazing activities that the area offers. We designed the upstairs portion of the house for our guests to feel like they are in their own home. We love it here and are convinced that once you visit this area, you will too!
